glad i had plenty of time

some days you just know things are going to be hard work.

from halden on saturday night, there was a train at 7 in the evening or the next one was 10.

So i think I'll be good for the 7 pm train. Afterall the factor had assured me they would get to the cut point I wanted to se by 11Am.

So it is 6:30 pm when they finally get there. So I kiss goodbye to the 7 pm train.

So I get my self to the station, for the 10 pm train, no problem. get on the train, the gaurd comes to check my ticket, and I get that the train is not going all the way to Oslo, I'll have to get a bus.

So get to Oslo, walk from the bus drop off point to the station. Only to find that the train to the airport, has alos been replaced by a bus. Guess where it goes from, that is right just where I had walked from.
So back round and wait for the bus.

So I reach the airport at 1am, glad I had not bothered with a hotel, for what would have been about 4 hours kip,

I go upstairs and try to check in on one of the machines, but it will not let me. No matter I think in the morning I'll be fine.

Find a seat, sort out the hour change on my watch, and grab some kip.

at 4:30 am go up stairs to check in for my 6:30 flight, still the machines will not let me, go to the desk, she goes, that I do not have a reservation.

so now I have to fire up my laptop to get the details. After about 15 minutes I get to the mail which shows that my travel people had for some reason booked me to fly out of Oslo other airport. Also at 6:30 in the morning

the girl at the desk says there is nothing she can do, I will have t wait for the ticket office to open at 5:15. So i go and queue. 5:25 no one shows . so go and ask the girl again, she goes yes they have rang and they are running late. Not much good for me. I check my paper work from the travel people, notice a 24 hour support number, ring them and they change the booking.

Back at the desk, she can see it but says it is not properly closed out. She eventually gets round that. and gets me on the flight. But can not get me on the second leg home. But promised it will be sorted by the time I got to Schipol. It was not of course, so a mad dash to the tiket office there to sort it out, my the flight and landed early.

Was met by the Ex and taken to the house.

Well via B&Q to get the bits to fix her lamp first.

fixed her lamp, hung her picture, sorted out the picture on the TV, then we all went out to eat. Nice Italians, we all have a real laugh.

Back to the house, took the dogs out. then me and the kids head to the flat.

watch some Dr Who, carve a Pumpkin, play a game.

take the daughter to the house.

sort out the duvet for the ex, she struggles to get it in the cover.
then I head back  up to the flat, that was after a barney with the Ex about hoovering and money. She had been moaning on about the house needing to be hoovered and dusted, and the bathroom cleaned.

Ultimately she goes, well she is not going to come to Paris anymore next week, as she does not want to feel that she has to come crawling to me for money, I said fine. no one is begging you to come.

When I dropped the youngest off later on, she was much calmer again.

    now Sunday is done.

guess what? will be back on a plane in 6 hours

Also it may have proven to be somewhat awkward when she has had the boyfriend staying.

So far the 12 year old, daughter, is the best behaved of the three of them. But I am sure her time will come.
Then do you know what, I might appreciate my flat even more, can see the house becoming a war zone.
